Hibiscus is a diverse genus of flowering plants in the mallow family, famous for their large, trumpet-shaped, vibrant blooms. While there are hundreds of species, the two most common are the tropical Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, known for its glossy leaves and brilliant colors, and the hardy Hibiscus syriacus (Rose of Sharon), which can withstand much colder winters.

- ☀️ Sun: Prefers full sun; at least 6–8 hours of direct light daily for maximum flowering.
- 🌡️ Temperature: Tropical varieties thrive in 15°C–30°C and need protection from temperatures below 10°C; hardy varieties can tolerate frost down to -15°C.
