Ġnien it-Tbissim, Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq – Public Park Transformation

Ġnien it-Tbissim is a 5,500 m² public garden in Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq, Malta, developed to provide a welcoming outdoor space for the local community.

Derek Garden Centre was the contractor responsible for the complete project, delivering the works from site preparation and construction to infrastructure, hard landscaping, irrigation, planting and finishing. The project brought together construction and landscape works to create a functional public space with green areas for families and visitors to enjoy.

From Construction to Landscaping

The project involved a combination of construction, infrastructure and landscaping works to transform the site into a completed public garden.

Derek's scope included site preparation, construction works, hard landscaping and paving, alongside the installation of irrigation systems and the development of planted areas. These elements were brought together to create a cohesive outdoor environment that balances practical infrastructure with green spaces.
